SUBMIT A COMMENT
The FAA’s National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) draft Environmental Assessment (EA) for the SAMP Near-Term Projects (NTPs) is available for review and comment.
The public comment period is open from October 21 through December 13, 2024. Commenting on a draft EA is an important way for the public to participate in the environmental review process and contribute to the decision-making process. You can submit comments throughout the comment period at a public meeting, online, by email, or postal mail.
At the conclusion of the comment period on December 13, 2024, all comments received will be reviewed and taken into consideration by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Port of Seattle during the preparation of the FAA’s final NEPA EA. Responses to comments will be included in the final EA.
How to Comment
The FAA and the Port are committed to an accessible, understandable public comment process. Members of the public will be able to review information translated into six languages and submit comments throughout the comment period verbally or in writing at any of the public meetings listed below, using the online form, by email, or regular mail. Comments should provide sufficient detail for the agency to understand the commenter’s position and why the issues raised are important to the decision-making process.
If audio, visual, or language assistance are required please leave a message at 206-339-0213.
Important note: Before including your name, address and telephone number, email or other personal identifying information in your comment, be advised that your entire comment – including your personal identifying information – may be made publicly available at any time.
