This website was developed to keep the public informed about the Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Proposed Solar Facility Project at the Kansas City International Airport. This website is being maintained throughout the EA process to notify the public about meetings, project developments, and opportunities for public involvement.

Current Events
The Kansas City Aviation Department (KCAD) and the FAA held a Public Scoping Open House to collect public comments on the scope, alternatives, and analysis to be included in the EA for the Proposed Solar Facility Project at Kansas City International Airport. The public will have from November 7, 2023 to December 21, 2023 (a total of 45 days) to provide scoping comments.
